Here’s a nice little video of the Woody Allen & His New Orleans Jazz Band on March 22, 2010 at the Tempodrom in Berlin, Germany. Great crowd and a wonderful venue. The clip is the band playing the Bechet classic – “Too Much Mustard” Très Moutarde.
Two pivotal members of the Woody Allen Jazz Band, leader Eddy Davis and pianist Conal Fowkes appear here in a live performance at the beautiful Casa Fuster in the heart of Barcelona, Spain.
The clip is taken from a 90 minute DVD containing 24 titles available for purchase by visiting www.DavisFowkes.com
The DVD also includes a bonus “extra” of a very special jam session with guest musician on clarinet ( no, not Pete Fountain). This smashing DVD is available for purchase by navigating to

Woody Allen blows his horn for the love of jazz :: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: People: “That’s why Allen surrounds himself with top-notch musicians in his New Orleans Jazz Band. “They’re sensational,” Allen says of his bandmates. “I, of course, am in over my head.” They play almost every Monday night at New York City’s Carlyle Hotel, and did a short U.S. tour last year before heading to Europe.”

Nice video found on YouTube of the Kravis Center for the Arts Performance – West Palm Beach, Florida 12/30/2009. Thanks, Frank!
Review: As a musician, Woody’s a magician in lively Phil concert» Naples Daily News: “Although the event was billed as ‘Woody Allen & His New Orleans Jazz Band,’ one gets the feeling that the band is a true equal partnership. No one musician is more important — even if he does have an Oscar — than the rest. Each of the other musicians, in true New Orleans band form, was allowed to shine, playing solos in almost every song. Several band members also lent their voices to some of the songs, including Zigmont singing ‘Over in the Gloryland’ and drummer Gill’s fun rendition of ‘Aba Daba Honeymoon.’”
